Our focus on VIBE, Value, Inclusion, Belonging & Equity is integrated into everything we do - recruiting, product, data analytics, development, career advancement and so much more!About the RoleIn the of Director, Disability Inclusion you serve as part of the global Belonging & Diversity (B&D) organization. In this role, you will be responsible executing on a globally relevant comprehensive disability inclusion strategy that is aligned with Workday’s overall VIBE objectives. In addition to a comprehensive understanding of the ADA and other compliance requirements in the U.S. and globally, this role will implement solutions to improve the company’s cross-functional ability to serve individuals with both apparent and non-apparent disabilities. Ultimately, this role exists to help Workday from the top down develop and implement programming that supports disability inclusion and Workmate accessibility, beyond basic compliance.The ideal candidate will collaborate with strategic partners internally to integrate disability inclusion practices into all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equity and inclusion for ALL by helping to secure equitable access to employment, advancement and participation by enabling our four areas of impact in the disability inclusion program; environment, Workmate and customer practices, Workmate enablement and leadership commitment. In addition as a leader on the team this role will partner with the B&D leadership team to drive overall effectiveness of the B&D portfolio of work.Essential Job Functions:Provide strategic guidance and expertise globally on disability inclusion standard practices, accommodations, workplace accessibility standards and disability related laws and regulations.Monitor and evaluate disability inclusion metrics and progress, reporting outcomes to senior leadership and making recommendations for continuous improvement.Stay updated on industry trends, research, and legal requirements related to disability inclusion and advise the company on compliance and standard processes.Coordinate with Legal and HR Compliance to ensure required regulatory processes and documentation are handled appropriately and lead responsibilities associated with risk mitigation.About YouBasic QualificationsPassionate about crafting an inclusive work environment for all people with an emphasis on individuals with disabilitiesBachelor's degree or 10+ years of Corporate equivalent experience in a relevant field5+ years of dynamic leadership experienceExperience in the identification, development and implementation of successful workforce, workplace and marketplace strategiesStrong experience leading enterprise-wide programs and initiatives that are aligned to specific outcomesStrong project management skills which include experience planning events and managing programs and projects from inception to completionExperience and comfort with interacting with senior/executive leadershipKnowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, as well as current standard processesExcellent and effective communication skills with an ability to simplify the complex and ensure a common understandingOther QualificationsOutstanding knowledge of the ADA and other equivalent laws globally that support people with disabilitiesFamiliarity with diversity metrics and data analysis, and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendationsWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
