If you share these values too, we’d love to talk to you!As a Staff Content Designer on our Fashion team, you’ll help connect buyers and sellers of luxury items like watches, jewelry, sneakers, streetwear and more. You’ll collaborate on the design of simple, functional and accessible experiences that also foster a sense of delight, discovery and achievement. You’ll lead the end-to-end product content strategy for buying and selling experiences, from resale and authentication to live shopping and AI-powered recommendations. You’ll work closely with product design, user research, product management, brand, marketing and engineering to successfully go from early-stage product concepts to launch.As a full-stack staff content designer, you believe writing is designing. You see language as a design material and you get others to think the same. You understand how to work in tandem with our product design team to solve complicated problems with deceptively simple words and how to work within an established content design system. You also enjoy working with cross-discipline partners to define the margins, strategies and outcomes in ambiguous spaces.Responsibilities:Develop content strategies and frameworks to drive customer adoption, engagement and retentionLead the content design process from discovery and ideation to the final fit and finish of full-fidelity designsUse the Double Diamond process to design, test and iterate on user flows in close collaboration with product, design and user research partnersDrive a cohesive product narrative and end-to-end consistency in partnership with marketing and customer support teamsCollaborate closely with the Localization team to ensure the English source content will scale to other markets in which eBay operatesRequirements:8+ years professional experience in content-focused roles with 5+ of those years on in-product UX contentBachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, journalism, communications, marketing, human-centered interaction or a related fieldA portfolio of work demonstrating human-centered design thinking and solutionsExperience leading or co-leading the design process, from early concept to launchExperience developing a product content strategy for web and mobile, including designing for accessibility and inclusivityManagement of multiple projects in a fast-paced and ambiguous environmentBenefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
