He/she is required to deal with end users through channel partners for problem-solving, pre-sales activities, and end user training. He/she is responsible for supporting channel partners in using Illumina's sequencing and microarray systems. This candidate is based in South Africa and will support the African continent through channel partners. Candidate must have possessed prior commercial experience and demonstrated considerable abilities to excel in the below:Tasks and Responsibilities:Coordinate new installations through channel partners, including facility inspections, assay validation and end user trainingProvide comprehensive technical training and support to end users through channel partnersProvide ongoing support and troubleshooting for end users’ issues through channel partners related to end users’ technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software and instruments.Strong technically and able to perform independent troubleshootingManage and collaborate with partners and carry out projects that include demonstrations, feasibilities studies, and new product evaluationHelp to maintain and increase product usage through channel partners, by giving technical presentations and demonstrationsDevelop and maintain positive relationships with end users through channel partnersDevelop and maintain positive relationships with channel partners.
