Position Overview:
We are seeking a Website Operations Manager to own our website roadmap and project execution, and oversee our overall website experience. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of marketing experience and a proven track record as a website manager, with the ability to lead projects from ideation to execution, hit deadlines, and align stakeholders. This is an opportunity to join a company that empowers revenue and go-to-market teams to determine the best actions for winning outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily Apollo.io website operations
Transparently prioritize and coordinate the Apollo.io website roadmap—including plans for content, structure, and design changes; implement brief, project management, QA, and review processes
Lead web projects of all sizes from ideation to completion, bringing cross-functional collaborators together to deliver on stated objectives on time and within budget
Translate requirements and design concepts into build plans for development
Partner with design to create systems and reusable components to move faster
Work closely with CRO/SEO and research to interpret signals from heatmaps, user recordings, surveys, and analytics to understand opportunities and proactively propose points of improvement
Collaborate with PMM, design, content, SEO, and development, to make sure website goals and objectives are met
Lead UX/UI feedback sessions as needed with design and/or research teams to inform roadmap decisions and prioritization
Make data-backed decisions, using testing platforms and tools as needed (e.g. Google Suite: Analytics, Search Console, Keyword Planner, Hotjar, Intellimize/Mutiny or equivalent)
About you:
3+ years managing a high-volume, conversion-oriented website or similar role in a PLG/SaaS company
Understanding of website development, security, and maintenance practices
Proudly detail-oriented (colleagues would say you’re the person who spots the broken link first)
Incredible project management skills; you take full ownership of projects and hit objectives and milestones with a cross-functional team with all levels of seniority
Strong design sensibility, a grasp of design systems and UX best practice; this role is not a design role but should be a capable and motivating partner to a world-class design team
Comfort with tools for testing and measuring website success; transparent project management (we use Notion here)
Thrive in a startup environment—you can navigate quick turnarounds and pivots, and are resourceful and solution-oriented
