What You’ll Do
Build Lambda’s Federal practice as the key driver
Lead Lambda’s Federal sales and strategic partnership activities, including the end-to-end sales cycle (prospecting, presenting, forecasting, closing, onboarding, managing) for Federal opportunities; with a focus on the DoD, national security community, DoE, and national labs; reporting either to the VP of Strategy or CRO
Develop deep familiarity, including at a technical level, with Lambda’s products and how they can be used to solve present and future challenges facing the Federal government
Establish and cultivate deep relationships with key individuals at Federal departments and agencies
Track, analyze and manage key performance metrics, including pipeline growth, revenue projections, win rate, quota attainment, and deal size
Assist in the development of the annual budget and long-term financial forecasts to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
Collaborate internally with the rest of the Strategy team, Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and the executive leadership team to secure and support federal grants, contracts, and other relevant Federal opportunities
Build and manage the ongoing compliance functions associated with government contracting
Monitor industry trends, and Federal budget and regulatory changes to identify potential business risks and opportunities, and ensure regulatory compliance
Build and empower a highly motivated, engaged, and effective team selling into the Federal market, organized around critical strategic objectives
Evangelize Lambda’s solutions, including being a spokesperson at conferences and other external events
Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and third parties engaged in federal government affairs and public policy matters on Lambda’s behalf
You
Are a hustler, builder and cross-functional collaborator that embraces ambiguity and the tremendous opportunity that Lambda can bring to Federal
Have 10+ years of Enterprise deep technical sales experience, including a verifiable track record of success sourcing, negotiating and securing deals with Federal departments and agencies
Have managed complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders resulting in substantial deals (TDV >$100m)
Are able to understand in detail Lambda’s technology and solutions
Have deep understanding of federal contracting and procurement processes and the compliance programs that accompany them
Have experience building an effective sales management infrastructure and high-performing team
Have excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
Are able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to compellingly articulate Lambda’s product offerings to audiences with varying levels of technical skill and seniority
Are a team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous improvement
Have an active US TS-SCI Security clearance (or eligibility to reinstate an existing clearance quickly)
Are able to travel extensively
Nice to Have
An advanced degree in a technical field, e.g., computer science or electrical engineering
Prior experience in a startup or high-growth organization, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility to thrive in such environments.

Salary Range Information
Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $300,000-$400,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
