Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. As the Enterprise Integration Architect, for Archer Corporate technology, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable integration solutions that enable seamless data flow and communication across our enterprise architecture function for all business systems. You will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining integration layers and technical development for building ETLs/data synchronization requirements for reports and data analytics platforms.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient exchange of data and drive technical excellence.This role will guide technology choices across all aspects of Archer enterprise applications development roadmap and their evolving application’s architecture.
Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain a comprehensive integration strategy that aligns with the business goals and objectives.
Design integration solutions using Workato as a middleware platform that ensure data consistency, security, and performance.
Lead the technical development of integration solutions, including SQL scripting and ETL processes.
Manage and maintain code repositories on GitHub, ensuring proper version control and collaboration with the development team.
Define and enforce architecture governance processes to maintain the integrity of integration solutions.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Continuously monitor and optimize integration solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Leads the analysis of the current Archer enterprise technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement
Drive Agile Scrum development methodologies along with agile tool adoption and use.
Facilitates the evaluation and selection of software products and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations
Provides deliverables like standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to support architectural governance to assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment
Partners with the program management office (PMO) and vertical track leads to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised throughout the project or product lifecycle
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
12+ years of experience in an IT enterprise architecture or system analyst role
5+ years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect including in-depth knowledge of system architecture, process and data flow documentation and standards
Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments
Prior experience creating reusable integration patterns for business-systems such as ERP ( SAP S/4 HANA), CRM, HCM ( Workday) is a must.
Proficiency in GitHub and code versioning or other tools
Deep knowledge of core enterprise technology systems, Workato,SQLi or similar middleware platforms, Snowflake DW, Kafka or similar ETL platforms, SQL and Python
Thorough understanding in Software development tools with languages such as Terraform, Java, PHP, JavaScript, Groovy, Python,ABAP and Fiori development experience
Ability to apply API knowledge to any platform (swagger document)
Experience with integrating Airline Applications is a huge advantage. ( like Aircraft Movement Control, Electronic Flight Baggage, Crew Management, FLight planning system and Qualification and training management system)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with major SaaS applications, AWS, GCP
Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies, IT service management (ITSM), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Experience with architecture frameworks such as Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
Understanding of network and security architecture

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $163,200 - $204,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
