Everyone within this global office has deep roots in technology, but we are equally comfortable having practical conversations with various audiences on topics that range from strategic to tactical.About the RoleThis executive role will be dedicated to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. You’ll have opportunities to both introduce and champion Workday's true cloud benefits to executives and audiences across this domain. A large portion of your time will be spent with future customers, building meaningful relationships to ensure the Workday product is being represented as the technology of choice, whilst gathering meaningful insights from prospective customers. Equally as important, you will work closely with our existing customers, enabling them on how Workday can be best utilized within their business and seeking feedback on improvements we can make to our products.You will also be asked to participate in Workday-sponsored events like "road shows" or conferences by leading breakouts, serving as a keynote speaker, or participating in panel discussions. Travel will be required for this position. As the region's CTO, you will help identify unique market opportunities, support strategic sales engagements, connect with engineering teams, and educate your fellow Workmates. Whether in-person, via conference call, or on video, this executive role requires a confident presentation style that is both engaging and conversational.About YouWe are looking for someone who is always asking “Why”? A curious mindset that will continually challenge our existing thought processes to take Workday into the future. Being able to deep dive into the Workday products, and articulating how customers can best unlock it's full potential is key to the success of this role. You need to be able to demonstrate how our focus on AI & Machine Learning is changing the future of work, and how businesses can utilize our technology for future growth. The best candidates will have a strong technical background that includes foundational experience in software development. Credibility among architects and developers is essential and is derived from a deep understanding of the principles Workday adheres to in building, deploying, and maintaining its single-version service. You will also be a thought leader and have a point of view when interacting with technology executives, as it's meaningful to have a clear opinion on technology and management that is grounded in both authenticity and experience.  Being able to gain rapid credibility with executives is a core skill for this role.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
