Description Description The Operations Program Manager (OPM) launches products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability.
The iPhone India NPI team is a program management group leading the planning and execution of iPhone NPI in India. The team is comprised of Operations Program Managers focusing on factory readiness, ramp execution building India NPI Capabilities. A successful NPI OPM is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment; and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.
Day to day work includes facilitating cross-functional discussions, developing schedules, mapping out dependencies, and collaborating with other teams to resolve issues and execute programs. Building a range of India NPI Capabilities is one of the key dimensions of the role. This position provides exposure to the iPhone leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
-Leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps.
-Drive ramp readiness with engineering, operations and OEM teams.
-Plan capacity and lead factory equipment budget.
-Handle component readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost.
-Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams.
-Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality.
-Leading all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.
-Drive the bring-up of new sites & execution of programs in Apple’s secondary manufacturing sites.
-Successfully communicate with cross functional teams in Engineering and Operations to qualify new programs in manufacturing sites to ensure launch schedules are met.
-Drive the overall operations schedule, production planning and materials readiness to meet product development schedule landmarks. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors in engineering preferred. Masters or MBA are considered a plus. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $148,200 and $223,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
