We are now looking for a creative and experienced Senior Supply Chain Engineer - Santa Clara to join our Supply Chain Operations team. As part of an Operations team you'll play a key role in launching NVIDIA's crafted board products - GPU, Automotive, Embedded, Datacenter boards/modules.What You’ll Be Doing:Represent Operations during early product life cycle and provide manufacturability, quality, cost and yield impact information to design, sourcing, and manufacturing engineering teams.Collaborate and align industry leading global EMS Partners on PCBA technology roadmap, manufacturing and inspection equipment requirements, workmanship and quality standards, and shop floor data systems to optimize business requirements around cost, quality and yield.Exhibits a high level of energy to build support for outsourcing and align critical success factors in EMS relationships.Partner with subject matter authorities influence designs, component sections to implement efficient and reliable manufacturing processes.Work as a liaison with Global operations/engineering teams and collaborate with Contract Manufacturers globally.Develop and drive common DFx, NPI and manufacturing processes and methods across different product types and different contract manufactures.Help pro-actively identify manufacturability risk areas, analyze DFX feedback from EMS providers and recommend solutions during the design cycle and drive mitigation plans.Establish procedures/requirements to continuously improve PCBA MFG process. Partner with ME/Business teams to define, implement process window characterization experiments for process margin improvements.Drive continuous alignment within NVIDIA global design and manufacturing teams and CMs on new product MFG requirementsWhat We Need To See:BSME/BSEE (or equivalent experience) with 12+ years of overall significant experienceForward Thinker and Ability to prioritize different projectsSME in Board Manufacturing process and technology developmentPrior working knowledge on ICs/Chip Packages and master’s in engineering a plus a plusProviding inputs on new, alternative and improved manufacturing methodsDFx specialist in electrical, thermal and mechanical components of a BoardExperience in driving global CMs to meet new product manufacturing requirements and experience in automotive, industrial, and military electronic requirementsExcellent interpersonal skills with geographically complementary teams and functional groups!Are you an authority in Design of experiments creation, execution and data analysis?Familiarity with datacenter and consumer related electronics experienceWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
