He / She will be utilizing advanced machine learning techniques, designing, and optimizing data pipelines to develop and maintain recommendation systems and generative AI models, while collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing thought leadership in these domains.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data ingestion, storage, and processing for analysis, data modeling and machine learning applications, via cloud computing technology.Design, build, and maintain recommendation systems using state-of-the-art recommendation algorithms and machine learning models to deliver personalized content and product recommendations.Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline, extract relevant features and apply techniques to improve recommendation and generative AI model performance.Evaluate model performance, perform relevant AB tests, including user feedback, and continuously improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of recommendation systems and generative AI models.Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand the data needs of various stakeholders across the organization, as well as product managers and designers to integrate recommendation systems and generative AI into our products.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science, recommendation systems, Gen AI, and machine learning.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists and engineers.RequirementsAbility to work in fast paced, high pressure, agile environment.Ability and willingness to learn any new technologies and apply them at work in order to stay ahead.Strong in programming languages such as Python, SQL and Machine Learning frameworkExperience in developing and deploying applications running on cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform using Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, containerization tools like Dockers.Experience using orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect, distributed computing framework like Spark or Dask.In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques, building recommendation systems, including collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, or deep learning-based approaches.Proficiency in working with large-scale datasets, data preprocessing, and feature engineering and model evaluation techniquesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.Has a Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD degree in computer science, data science or similar discipline.2+ years of experience in AI, data science and engineering.Pre-Requisites :Are you game?
