Job Summary:SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER, SALES STRATEGY & ENABLEMENTLocation: Hollywood, CA | Phoenix, AZ | Nashville, TN | or RemoteDivision: Ticketmaster NALine Manager: VP - Strategic Account SuccessContract Terms: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours per weekTHE TEAMThe Sales Strategy and Enablement team is relatively new within the Ticketmaster North America Sales organization.  This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned business development or customer success professional to be a key contributor as we reinvent how account teams sell and service the business in North America.THE JOBThe primary responsibility for this contributor will be to drive growth and retention with Ticketmaster’s sports accounts, using a client-focused approach to every engagement, from quick turn one-pagers to months-long client engagement that include multiple levels of discovery, presentations and written proposals. This position will report to the VP of Sales Strategy, partnering with that leader on Ticketmaster’s sports accounts.  In this role, you will be working cross-functionally with the account team -- personnel from business, support, marketing and/or premium services who are involved in the account.   Ultimately, you will ensure we bring our collective capability to the customer in a coordinated way that drives value realization for our customers and growth for Ticketmaster.At a high level, this includes execution on the Sales Strategy and Enablement processes.  To do so requires facilitating internal reviews for all client touchpoints, collecting and disseminating analytics around client performance, conducting client interviews and meetings; crafting highly targeted narratives and materials that articulate Ticketmaster’s unique value proposition.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGConsistently implement the standardized processes for engagement with Ticketmaster’s sports accounts, reviewing and adjusting these processes as necessary to streamline execution.Work cross-functionally with Product and Support to identify and quantify success metrics so that the Ticketmaster Value Proposition is clearly demonstrated to our sports accounts.Execute the account plan for each identified account with clear deliverables, KPIs and timelines.Manage a program calendar with the Ticketmaster client team that demonstrates a commitment to client success and delivers at a pace that outperforms both the customer and Ticketmaster’s historical performance.Actively participate in all major client presentations and deliverables, in a capacity mutually agreed to by the Ticketmaster account team, including collaboration on advance discovery.Provide standardized feedback from all strategic account presentations and interviews to Product and Support.Schedule and document “Won/Lost” interviews with sports accounts and other accounts as necessary to gain insight on the sales process from the client perspective.Identify, schedule and document other client interviews to understand perceptions and product gaps of Ticketmaster.Work closely with Segment leads, Support and Marketing to ensure a ‘one team approach’ to execution.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)At least 10 years of experience in client-facing roles, preferably within the professional or collegiate sports industries.Must have broad understanding of ticketing ecosystem, including systems and platforms, third-party integrators, marketing drivers, analytics and pricing tools, and financial frameworks.Excellent organizational skills required.Demonstrated ability to facilitate complex client relationships.Ability to manage a large, diverse workload of short and long-term projects.Strong deck-building and presentation skills required.Ability to travel 25%.YOU (BEHAVIORAL SKILLS)Builder:  We are creating new capabilities for Ticketmaster and may not have all the systems and tools and people in place.  Be comfortable with that level of ambiguity and thrive on the challenge of driving the business and the function forward while building underlying capabilities.Creative Thinker: The role is not just about managing within predefined bounds; it’s also about thinking outside of the box and introducing novel solutions.
