Authentication Security team is dedicated to build and maintain frameworks and services to provide secured and adaptive identity verification. We are looking for talented individuals to take our authentication and data security services to new heights. Workday supports and promotes a variety of authentication standards to provide a secured and seamless experience to all users and servicesAbout the RoleWe are looking for candidates excited by security service, multi-threading, concurrency and solving interesting distributed systems design problems. We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic software engineers to be part of our dynamic team to make a difference in developing our platform and services which is used by Fortune 500 companies around the world.This role requires strong skills in design, development, testing, release, support and enhancement of highly visible / customer-facing software using an agile development methodology.About YouBasic QualificationsBS in Computer Science or related fieldsAround 5 years experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming, fluent in Java, proficient in applying common design patterns, good grasp of distributed systems and ability to communicate design ideas effectively.Expertise in dealing with horizontal scale, high availability, concurrency, profiling, deployment, upgrade/migration, production support and other SaaS enterprise software issues.Experience designing and developing web servicesProficient in major development tools and processes, such as source control, requirement spec, design and design review, unit test, system test, performance test, etc.Proven ability to take roles in projects that span multiple teams, ability to deliver on time working in a fast paced agile environment, ability to work with product managers to clarify and prune requirements.Strong verbal and written communication.Desired QualificationsAuthentication experience with some of the following: SSO, Multi-Factor Authentication, Delegated Authentication, x509, SAML, OAuth, OIDCExperience with SaaS security infrastructureExperience with Scala and MySqlExperience with CI/CDOur Approach to Flexible WorkWith Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
