We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.The Job At-A-Glance:Q2 is pleased to offer a senior level position, Director, Information Security, at our Q2 Headquarters in Austin, TX.  The resource in this role will facilitate driving Q2’s strategic direction for the information security and defense teams working with our Chief Information Security Officer, the Security Team and the Chief Risk Officer. The person in this role is critical to driving Q2’s security direction for our Enterprise/Corporate IT, SaaS, Solutions and Applications.  This also includes managing overall cyber defense, forensics, incident response and security operations center supporting Corporate IT Security and Product Security functions. Responsibilities include:Advance information security, data, application security and cyber defense practices.Evolve incident response, staying abreast of emerging threats, collaborating with IT teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, conducting training programs, and regularly reporting to executive leadership on the organization's security posture.Enhance threat intelligence capabilities utilizing network of capabilities and agencies to elevate programs.Your role extends to elevate development of incident detection and response protocols, ensuring the team is well-prepared to handle emerging cyber threats effectively.You'll collaborate closely with product security teams to embed robust measures into the broader program.Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles are essential for success in this role.A Typical Day:Creates actionable insight and understanding, through the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, building recommendations that directly address cybersecurity and business fraud identification objectivesDefine Cyber controls (standards) for core data assets understanding the complex and diverse nature of Q2 products and servicesDirect supervision and related management duties of the Cyber Security team (Cyber Security Analysts and Engineers)Works in partnership with teams across Q2; including marketing, communications, hosting, compliance, support and developmentResponsible for driving strategic leadership of the regions Cyber Assessment, Vulnerability Management, Training, and Exercise programsProvide guidance and counsel to the CISO and key members of the business leadership team, working closely with senior leaders in defining objectives for information security, while building relationships and goodwillEstablish annual and long-range global cyber security and defense goals, implement security strategies, metrics, reporting mechanisms and program servicesWork with the CISO and Enterprise IT and Corporate IT leaders to define and drive a multi-year cyber security architecture and world-class programContinually drive cyber security enhancements through standardized workflows and process improvementsDefine & track relevant and actionable security metrics/KPI’s/KRI’s to ensure cyber security protectionsStrong verbal and written communication is a must to be able to deliver complex topics to non-technical stakeholdersThrives off of solving complex problems in unique ways using innovative methods to be successful in protecting the company’s information assetsPartner with Cyber testing, Simulation, Infrastructure and Application development teams to develop new testing scenarios and maintain existing plansEnsure that recovery playbooks are clearly defined, documented, communicated, adhered to, and are audit compliantDrive assessment of cyber defense and architecture in Enterprise/Corporate IT solutionsProvide coaching, consulting, and training opportunities to create and maintain talent within the security organization at the manager and below levelBring Your Passion, Do What You Love.
