Finance at Valon  The Finance team sits across all business lines and product areas at Valon (technology development, servicing, originations, and insurance) and manages the company’s day-to-day financial operations. This includes creating and owning financial statements, maintaining accounting records across our various business lines, responding to audits, and setting up financial controls to mitigate risk. They also establish and review accounting policies and offer strategic financial insight to the management team for the company’s financial planning and analysis. About the Role  As a member of the Investor Reporting team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Investor Reporting Team including daily and monthly reporting and remitting to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Non-GSE investors. Along with these day-to-day operations, you will be working alongside management and other cross-functional stakeholders to help scale processes, assist in the creation of new reporting processes, and identify areas for improvement. As an Investor Reporting Analyst, you will be able to bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. The right candidate has an eye for process improvement and is looking to make a meaningful contribution to an industry-leading FinTech company adding automation to the servicing industry. Responsibilities Execute and problem-solve in day-to-day operations for the Investor Reporting business Assist in timely reporting, remittance, and reconciliation of the mortgage portfolios to investors Improve and advise on process efficiencies within Investor Reporting Assist in product development from a servicing process and servicing platform lens alongside management.
