Location:  London, UK Position Overview: We’re looking to expand our global sales team by hiring a Director of Sales who has experience selling technical data solutions to data and engineering teams in large enterprises as well as mid-sized companies. As the Director of Sales for EMEA at Rudderstack, you will be a key player in driving our sales strategy and expanding our market presence across the region. You will lead a high-performing sales team of Enterprise and Commercial Account Executives, establish strong relationships with key clients, and contribute to the growth of our innovative Customer Data Platform.  (#LI-Remote) Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the EMEA region. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SDR, customer success, and solutions consulting to ensure a seamless customer experience. Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Rudderstack's presence in the EMEA market. Develop and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SDR, customer success, and solutions consulting to ensure a seamless customer experience. Provide valuable market insights and feedback to inform product roadmap and business strategy. Sales Performance: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure sales team performance. Drive the team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring customer success. Represent Rudderstack at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility. Qualifications: Strong understanding of customer data platforms and the broader marketing technology landscape.  1-3 years of experience in a sales leadership role in the SaaS industry. In-depth knowledge of the EMEA market with a track record of successful market expansion. Strong strategic thinking and planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
