We shape the next generation of data solutions at Apple by working innovative technologies and solutions for the Insight/BPR team. Insight team is looking for an exceptional DevOps Manager to help and take our environment to the next level.
We are responsible for the data collection and reporting for all of Apple’s products around the world. You will build/support systems that every iPhone, iPad and Mac have interacted with. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Overall 12+ years of experience including atleast 5 years building & leading diverse and inclusive teams BigData technologies (Hadoop, Spark Streaming, Kafka, CDH is a plus) Relational DB experience (mysql) Instrumentation: Grafana, logstash, or AppD Cloud Technology : AWS, GCP or any cloud stack knowledge is a plus Excellent communication skills Detail oriented and goal driven Ability to navigate ambiguity and conflicts of interest Effective in matrixed organisation. Ability to build relationship at local, regional and WW levels Kubernetes cluster Description Description In this role, you will be managing a very large-scale, highly-available big-data infrastructure supporting many-Petabytes/Exabytes of data and growing very rapidly. You will be a key part of operating and maintaining the design, architecture, instrumentation and delivery of a substantial data platform empowering Apple’s products.
