We’re looking for a senior engineering leader and experienced professional to lead our display and navigation services team. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 10+ years of senior-level management experience, involving leadership development and the identification and mentoring of individual contributors (ICs) as well as developing for leadership positions. Experience developing navigation systems across modalities such as driving, transit, walking, cycling and hiking. Demonstrated expertise in leading teams and developing systems for real-time and historical vehicular traffic prediction and computation. Prior experience with pipelines to build vectorized components for map display across a wide range of devices with different display, memory and computation capabilities (e.g., iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, Mac, etc.) Experience leading engineering and R&D organizations with a mix of highly-specialized research engineers along with more-traditional software engineering roles. Experience building high-scale, low-latency systems and pipelines to process telemetry data from hundreds of millions of devices. Ability to lead software teams in multiple geographic locations, with direct customer impact for business-critical functionality. Comfort with ambiguity in projects and evolving requirements. Proven track record of developing a product vision, achieving cross-functional alignment and executing on it. bility to empathize with the customer and to appreciate what makes for excellent customer experiences. Capability to lead teams with PhD-level experts in a field where you may lack direct experience. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $210,900 and $364,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
