Audio & Media Technologies (AMT) group provides the media foundation across all of Apple's creative products, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, iTunes, and macOS. We are looking for a Quality Automation Engineer who can work and contribute towards the automation and testing of Apple AirPlay technologies in the Media QE team. In this role, you will develop and maintain automation using python frameworks and implement tests for new AirPlay features using an understanding of network and media streaming technologies. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Proficient in development of new test automation using Python Ability to write high quality test automation code in scalable fashion for multi device interactions Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen eye to details Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly Familiarity with iOS, Mac OS X, and Swift Description Description Ensure our Home Audio features like Whole Home Audio, Home Theater etc. are delivered with the highest quality experience using iPhone, Mac, HomePod, Apple TV, and third-party receivers. Work very closely with development and multi-functional teams to ensure AirPlay quality and performance is of the highest level. Cover a broad span of test areas involving functional, performance, and reliability testing. Responsibilities of this role also include writing automation framework, adding automated tests, hands on manual and automated testing, test planning for new features, writing high quality bugs, triage of issues, reporting on project progress, and risk analysis. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $109,000 and $189,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
