Join us!About the Role:Our Intellectual Property (IP) Team is a function of the Legal Team. The IP Team is seeking a paralegal intern for 17 weeks. A variety of projects will be assigned with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines including, but not limited to:Support all aspects of a global patent portfolio management, including invention disclosures, patent filings, prosecution, and maintenanceParticipate in the Patent Committee, including preparation for a meeting, meeting set-up, and coordinationMaintain records of patent portfolio development activity, including licensing and acquisitionsManage administration of the patent incentive award programCollect and analyze patent statistics to aid in the creation, monitoring, and distribution of reportsSupport all aspects of a global trademark portfolio management, including trademark clearance searches, trademark filings, trademark prosecution, and renewalsPerform internal patent and trademark docketing and database managementManage workload distribution to patent and trademark outside counsel and meeting filing and prosecution deadlines according to guidelinesCoordinate trademark and copyright enforcement actions, including researching, drafting, sending and following up on correspondence with third-partiesReview, track, and process the IP related invoices received from outside counselAssist with the management and analysis of the IP budgetManage the back-end of an IP asset management; Act as the account representative between the IP Team and systemSpecial projects and support to other teams, as neededWhat You’ll Need:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceCurrently enrolled in or have graduated from a Paralegal Certification Program.If currently enrolled, then graduating between December 2024-May 2025.An eagerness to learn through hands-on experience and collaborative projects specific to your internship field.Highly organized with attention to detail, including the ability to own and prioritize a project and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentAlthough CrowdStrike is a primarily remote company, collaboration is intrinsic to the success of our mission.
