Job Requisition ID #23WD74015Position OverviewAutodesk ACS (Autodesk Construction Solutions) R&D team is looking for an experienced and passionate individual to join our product development team and develop world class cloud-based software products and solutions to solve interesting problems in the construction industry. If you are a UX designer who is passionate about creating intuitive and engaging user experiences, join our team of experienced designers who are committed to delivering design solutions. As a Sr. UX Designer, you will work closely with our product teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that meet our clients' needs.You will be part of an agile team of smart and engineers building highly scalable, secure and cloud-based products/services. You will work in a global team and collaborate with local and remote colleagues from different disciplines like business, design, engineering etc. in a flexible environment.To be considered you must include both your resume and portfolio when applying.You will report to manager in Bangalore and its a hybrid model.ResponsibilitiesCreate designs that scale across multiple use cases and product domains by researching, Understand, and distilling a broad set of customer needsSynthesize insights from research to create a comprehensive user journey that identifies opportunities for innovationFacilitate design thinking workshops with key stakeholders to envision and ideate new user experiencesCommunicate designs through low- and high-fidelity UI mockups, written and diagrammatic documentation, and prototypes for testing, validation and productionPresent design work in UX review sessions and broader stakeholder presentations, taking constructive feedback and applying that further design iterationsAdvocate for the Autodesk design system, applying design standards and championing for consistency and cohesiveness, with a mindset of creating scalable reusable patternsDevelop cross-functional partnerships, engage stakeholders, and influence design approach through data-centric and user-centric lensLead experience design initiatives and help set strategy by evaluating and identifying the intersection of needs, customer needs, and technical opportunitiesEngage as an active member of an exciting, diverse and global design communityMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction design is a must4 to 8 years of related professional user experience design experienceUnderstanding of UX design process, methodologies, design systems, design patterns and reusable componentsExperience with design and prototyping tools like FigmaDemonstrated ability to visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations and diagramsAnd storyteller, able to explain technical topics to a non-technical audiencePreferred QualificationsSmart, articulate, and curious designer passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology and user experienceCapacity to think holistically about design scalability across platformsAbility to understand the essence of complex design and user problems, translating them into practical design solutionsExperience designing for applications spanning desktop, web & mobile experiences for SaaS, cloud-based softwareExperience working in large or distributed organizationsExperience building a design system or contributing to a design#LI-AK1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
