We're in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable education professional with education Industry experience to drive the adoption of Adobe's Education offerings- Adobe Express, and Adobe Creative Cloud, within the US higher education landscape. You will play a key role on our higher education team, building and cultivating vital partnerships with institutions that define Adobe's future in education. You'll work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams to help define and drive our regional Go-To-Market initiatives. Customer happiness is paramount in your approach.Join us in crafting the future of education in the United States and advancing Adobe's pivotal role within higher education.Responsibilities:As a Strategic Development Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert collaborating with account executives to present Adobe solutions to academic leaders conveying in the educational and institutional benefits of Adobe Express and Adobe Creative Cloud in teaching and learning.You’ll work to evolve and tailor our value proposition, so it resonates with our audience supported by research, executive presence, thought leadership, product innovation and your own teaching experience.Collaborate with Product Management, Research, Design, Engineering, and Product Marketing teams, pro-actively and regularly providing valuable product and industry insights that can ensure messaging and roadmap priorities are constantly evolving. In lockstep with market feedback.Collaborate with our marketing team in their execution of Adobe led customer-facing events, further solidifying Adobe's influence within the education sector.Establish a presence for Adobe at higher education industry events that will improve Adobe's market perception and thought leadership among the key decision makers.Develop and lead strategic engagements and collaborations with influential industry associations.Adhere to performance and success metrics set by the business and regularly report customer success and challenges to executive teams.Work Experience:Ten or more years of experience working in or with higher education institutions, such as universities or colleges.The ideal applicant will possess a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Education or a related field, underscoring their deep expertise in pedagogy.Proven expertise in educational leadership, demonstrated through the ability to develop effective digital teaching and learning strategies, curriculum innovations, and educational assessments.Experience with, or a comprehensive understanding of, applying Adobe tools encompassing a wide range of academic subject areas. This includes fields such as the arts, humanities, sciences, business, and technology, demonstrating the versatility of these tools in improving learning outcomes across all subject areas.Proven ability to create a value proposition, and to effect change in your environment through persuasive story-telling as well as research/data proof points.Experience in leading cross functional teams is an advantage.Additional experience in Business Development or Product management is preferable.Knowledge & Skills:Extensive knowledge of the North American higher education market, complemented by a well-established network within the U.S. higher education community, and expertise in areas such as student recruitment, enrollment, student experience, and student success is highly valuable.Exceptional presentation skills, evident in public speaking engagements at conferences and in interactions with faculty members. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $137,300 -- $252,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
