If this sounds like a good fit for you, please read on!About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to work as a part of our software engineering team, as we craft, implement and maintain scalable, configurable software solutions. We are looking for somebody who is fun, positive, diligent and possesses strong analytical skills.  Together we will have the opportunity to challenge development assumptions to reduce the risk of poor user experience. You will take ownership of the test inventory to build, modify and maintain robust efficient test cases, end to end test strategy, test plans, and regression tests for our product.  We will work together to find opportunities to automate workflows to increase reliability and predictability. You will help the team triage bugs and production issues. You will build and maintain your own test environment and test data when required. As a quality advocate you will promote testing guidelines, methodologies, and standards. We believe Quality Assurance Engineers like you can provide the team a valuable perspective from the beginning of the software development process!About YouWe are looking for somebody who is mission oriented, wants to change the world and wants to create great memories on a fun, energetic and tight knit team.   Basic QualificationsYou are smart, passionate, hungry for knowledge, get stuff done, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player with good communication skills. Strong understanding of the problem we’re solving and a passion for making a difference.7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or business analysis working in automated and manual testing techniques/approaches.7+ years of experience with Agile and Test-Driven Development.4+ years in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation or Development.Other QualificationsB.S. in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Management Information Systems.Experience with XSLT, REST API, Web Service, Workday HCM, Workday Report Writer, Workday Business Process.Clear understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes.Experience with end to end testing - Testing Planning, Test Execution, UAT, Regression.Experience creating automation test suites at scale, in at least one of these tools: JUnit, Bamboo, Silk Test, Selenium, or Cypress.Experience with Cloud Service Providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).Strong ability to resolve software issues through debugging.Experience understanding and testing with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).Ability to drive projects forward with limited oversight and good sense of ownership.Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) systems.Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
