We are dedicated to maintaining, improving and protecting trust in Workday, and we serve as the go-to-partner across Workday that brings clarity to growing data compliance requirements and turn them into Workday competitive advantages.The DCS team works closely with Product Legal, Privacy, Product & Technology, Global Support, Office of the Chief Privacy Officer/Data Protection Officer, Security, Cybersecurity Compliance, Go To Market Legal, Corporate Affairs, Trust, among many other teams.About the RoleWe are looking for an upbeat, collaborative and proactive teammate to sustain and mature our data compliance programs. As a Program Manager, you will play a meaningful role centered around data compliance governance, operations and advisory activities. While every day presents new opportunities, a typical day in the life of this role may include the following activities:Advise our workmates on how best to handle our customers data in alignment with our data handling policies and requirements, and related compliance obligations.Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, FAQs and awareness materials to support Workday's data compliance initiatives internally and externally.Work across multiple teams to consolidate & translate the data commitments, requirements and customers asks into a common framework of administrative, technical and operational controls and safeguards.Collaborate cross-functionally to craft and drive implementation plans to operationalize and influence the data compliance strategy with our product, technology, support, security and infrastructure teams.About YouBasic Qualifications4+ years of demonstrated ability in equivalent technology/security/privacy risk, governance, or compliance related roleBachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, finance or related fieldDeep familiarity with Cloud Computing and Software as a Service (SaaS), privacy and security principles and the intent of global privacy and data regulationsFamiliarity with industry compliance standards as they relate to SaaS and Cloud Computing, such as ISO 27001, 270017, SOC 1, SOC 2, and NISTDemonstrated program/project management, problem solving and consensus building experienceOther QualificationsExperience working collaboratively across a wide variety of functions to drive effective outcomes and earn trust, with a particular focus on working with legal, compliance, product, technology and infrastructure teamsA proven track record of success operating independently, collaborating as part of team-based initiatives and identifying process improvementsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsWillingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environmentCISA, PMP, CIPP, CISSP or other related certifications, a strong plusContribution to clubs, company initiatives, or other group activities aimed at making previous workplaces a better place to work for allWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
