Apple Japan Channel Sales has been investing and driving businesses in Telco, Consumer, Enterprise and Education spaces through channel partners. Our goal is to deliver the best customer experience and improve the experiences of owners of Apple Products & Service through these channel structures. Staffing Program within Sales Planning & Operation is responsible for initiatives and strategies around the people who are at the core of delivering the best Apple customer experience. The team strives to maximize the staff engagement with Consumer/Telco partners through various programs, trainings and contents which ultimately leads to better experience for our customers.
The Staffing Program Manager will be responsible for strategizing, planning, delivering, running and monitoring outstanding programs for the channel partner staff. The success of the program is dependent upon the coordinated efforts of various teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Ops, Contracts and other businesses within Apple both in Japan and Cupertino.
Reporting to Staffing Program Manager, you will have proven experience with sales teams in business strategy planning and execution, performance data analytics or operational positions. Your ability to drill down business status in detail and bring all available finance, operations, and analytical resources together to build the most effective sales actions possible would be highly valued.

Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years of strategic business planning, development or operational experience Well-rounded knowledge in the areas of business planning and strategy Experience with consumer products, retail industries is ideal Leadership and project management skills to drive initiatives forward Extraordinary team-player; experience in working with cross-functional teams Ability to deal with ambiguity or conflict of interest Good eye for business and shown excellence in problem identification Ability to define goals and meet timelines while always fighting for excellence Understanding the balance between tactical sales execution / goals and the importance of brand and standards for the channel Written and verbal communication skills in English preferred Description Description - Drive strategic initiatives around people and execution support to ensure that the customer experience continuously meets Apple’s standards and keeps evolving in changing environments
- Constantly look for innovative ways to elevate the staffing program engagement and advocacy levels of channel partner and staff
- Establish sustaining program governance and cadence to be followed, including annual/quarterly planning of training, engagement actions, and ad-hoc business needs
- Closely monitor performance of the program, making adjustments when needed, including expansion, optimization, and program scheme changes
- Commit to the continued pursuit of process efficiency/scalability in the ongoing development and execution of staffing programs
