Senior Learning and Development Specialist

The Senior Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day practices and programs that ensure Workiva employees, including new hires, are developing and growing in ways that increase employee engagement, retention, performance, job satisfaction, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.The Senior Learning and Development Specialist partners closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) to manage and facilitate employee development initiatives such as new hire orientation, effective communication skills, and other learning and development programs that upskill our workforce and support organizational need.What You'll DoPartners with key stakeholders and team members to update, re-design and deliver corporate employee development programs that support a hybrid working environment and enable employees to ramp up quickly and grow effectivelySupports all aspects of learning and development, including design, development, facilitation/ delivery, communication, measurement, and overall effectivenessAssists in the development of assessments of individual and organizational needs, implements and facilitates learning programs and solutions in order to create a high performance, engaged workforce and achieve the overall business strategySupports the delivery of career development programs across the company to help guide employees on ways to develop and navigate their careersLeverages new and existing systems, adult learning & onboarding best practices, tools, and resources to effectively measure employee impact, satisfaction, and program successProvides data-driven insights on the overall engagement, satisfaction, and effectiveness of learning solutionsEncourages positive relations between employees and their managers, and promotes open and effective employee communicationSupports our company values, DEIB practices and philosophy to deliver added value to employeesModels Workiva's values, principles, effective teamwork, and collaboration to drive the company’s successWhat You'll NeedMinimum  QualificationsUndergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in a related field4+ years of relevant experience with delivering training and  developing learning strategies and/or curriculum in a fast-paced, high-growth company that is geographically dispersedPreferred QualificationsExperience managing employee development initiatives in a high-growth organization preferredUp to 25% per month (may fluctuate as business needs evolve)Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office#LI-LC1 Where You’ll WorkOur values drive how we work and who we hire.
