The Public Affairs and ESG Project Manager will enhance Workiva’s marketing growth and reputation for public affairs and our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy. Leading as a Project Manager, they will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the Public Affairs and ESG strategic initiative through plans that are thoroughly developed, across Workiva’s global operations. This position will work closely with many internal and external stakeholders, public affairs corporate partnerships and including finance, human resources, investor relations, legal, communications, and subject-matter experts across the business. What You'll Do:Create structured plans out of ambiguityPro-active collaborator and communicator. Poses a high attention to detail and is able to grasp issues quickly. Ability to resolve issues with minimal supervisionEnsure implementation of the Public Affairs and ESG strategic initiatives through plans that are thoroughly scoped and developed with resource allocations, milestones that are achieved, and effective meeting management with internal and external stakeholdersSupport expense processing for public affairs and ESG initiatives. Create status reports, briefings, and initiatives for public affairs and ESG initiatives / projectsServe as the Secretary to the ESG Task Force and Workstreams, ESG Advisory Council, Public Affairs working group providing meeting minutes, meeting recordings, and agendas.Experience managing cross functional projects in a highly matrix collaborative organization within public affairs or environmental, social, and governance, public policy, corporate social responsibility, sustainability or related field, a plus. Minimum Qualifications:Experience: 4+ years of progressive project management experience with increased job responsibilities, preferably in the SaaS or technology areasProject management tools experience such as Monday.com, Trello, Asana, Smartsheet, or similarEducation: Bachelor’s degree. Minor or certifications in environmental, social, and governance, public policy, corporate social responsibility, sustainability or related field, a plus. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with a large, global SaaS organization Experience leading and facilitating group process and collaborationStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, to include internal and external stakeholders Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Position requires less than 20% travel to meet with project teams and stakeholdersReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.How You’ll Be Rewarded:Salary range in the US: $79,000.00 - $134,000.00A discretionary bonus typically paid annuallyRestricted Stock Units granted at time of hire401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
