The Associate Consultant will help to define projects, build work plans, and develop robust and valuable conclusions and recommendations for our clients. Associate Consultants are vital to ensuring that we provide our clients with the insights and information they need to achieve success.This role is primarily focussed in two high growth areas of the consulting business; real world data and epidemiology, however a successful candidate will also be expected to assist in other consulting work activities, as per the needs of the business.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments.An advanced degree in a relevant discipline (biostatistics, data science, epidemiology, public health, health economics, medicine)2-5 years of experience in management consulting or corporate strategy within life sciences or healthcareFamiliarity with market access, observational/epidemiological or health economics study designs and analytical methods.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw evidence-based conclusions.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.A proven commitment to client service and competency to communicate technical concepts to a both technical/academic/clinical as well as non-technical audiences.Experienced with MS Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.It would be great if you also have:Direct RWD experience (observational study datasets, such as electronic medical records or disease registry-based datasets)Proficiency with relevant analytical tools/languages and statistical packages (e.g. R, Python, SPSS, SAS, SQL, machine learning).Qualitative research experienceWhat will you be doing in this role?Lead and execute various primary and secondary research efforts needed for client projects.Perform quantitative analysis (e.g., financial modeling, data manipulation, claims analysis) to develop accurate product and market forecasts (e.g., sales projections, size of market, etc.)Conduct fully documented systematic reviews of both published and grey literature on the epidemiology of assigned diseases and their risk factors to estimate incidence/prevalence over a 10–20-year period.Prepare research dossiers and summaries using existing published literature and other data sources to inform and scope out major research programmes and support business development activity.Assist the wider team in sourcing data from real world datasets and writing observational study protocols and statistical analysis plans for internal review and subsequent publication.Perform statistical analyses using R, SPSS or other appropriate software packages and present the results of those analyses to clients or a wider audience, if required.Produce quality client deliverables including PowerPoint presentations, reports, white papers, etc.Report in project progress to clients and to internal project management or other stakeholders, if required.Engage on multiple client projects, effectively manage time commitments, and assume greater leadership and project management responsibilities over timeSupport senior team members in business development efforts including greenfield research, developing proposals pitch books, and responding to RFP’sHours of WorkThis is a full-time permanent position based in London, UK and will require hybrid working in our Liverpool Street office (2-3 days per week in office, rest of week remote).This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.#LI-Hybrid, #LI-Onsite #LI-SK1At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
