As the Vice President of Technology with a specialization in Real World Data (RWD), you will play a critical role in shaping the technology strategy, architecture, and development of our platform services for Real World Data (RWD) in Clarivate's Life Sciences and Healthcare division. Your leadership will be pivotal in leveraging RWD to advance our mission to empower Clarivate and our customers by providing simple, immediate, secure and controlled access to Clarivate's RWD and expertise.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldExtensive experience (15+ years) in technology with a recent focus in leadership roles within the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry, with a strong focus on Real World Data.At least 5-7 years of Real World Data experienceIt would be great if you also had . . . Technology Leadership:Provide strategic direction and leadership to the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.Develop and execute the technology roadmap, aligning it with the company's overarching strategic goals and objectives.Real World Data (RWD):Lead the implementation of RWD strategies and solutions to collect, analyze, and utilize real-world patient data effectively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure RWD is integrated into research, analytics, and decision-making processes.Data Architecture and Governance:Help define and maintain a robust data architecture that ensures the collection, storage, and analysis of RWD adhere to industry best practices and data privacy regulations.AI, Innovation and Research:Challenge how we deliver our RWD assets and provide a deeper understanding of our data through the use of AI Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in RWD, data analytics, and healthcare.Drive research and development initiatives to create cutting-edge solutions that address industry challenges and advance the use of RWD.Stakeholder and Customer Collaboration:Collaborate with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure technology initiatives align with business goals and client needs in the context of RWD.Working directly with customers to understand their needs and how these impact our RWD architecture.
