eBay, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in Bellevue WAJob Duties: Build new software experiences, improve existing software products, and develop highly distributed software systems powering the world’s largest e-commerce websites at a scale. Build highly reliable, scalable and fault-tolerant software solutions with other developers, product managers, QA, analysts and operations teams. Improve code services and system architecture, participate in brainstorming sessions, and supply technological ideas. Develop algorithms for software products and work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and deliver successful software solutions. Estimate engineering efforts, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and triage production issues. Research, analyze, design, develop and test the solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. Work with other engineers, Product Management to develop solutions that meet business needs for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and adherence to development principles and quality goals. Identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
