Urban heat island
Weather and climate research (e.g. Analyzing LST to gain insight in climate trends)
Crop stress and productivity (e.g. Evaporation, irrigation, Growing degree days…)
Commodities and yield prediction
Drought and heatwave monitoring
Environmental impact monitoring (e.g. Frost prediction/detection, wildfires risk management, nature restoration and land use change)
Next to your thesis project, you will work on investigating customer's use cases and how Planet’s data can be used in a practical context as a benefit for society.
What You Bring:
Basic understanding of Python and willing to boost your skills
Knowledge of geospatial technologies focusing on real life application analysis
Ability and experience around answering challenging questions in regards to data and metrics.
