The Post Close team is responsible for ensuring that all products are methodically administered in line with relevant reporting obligations.The team is relatively new so you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we grow and develop within Carta. Carta’s London and Denmark locations are a product of our 2022 acquisitions of Capdesk and Vauban. Now operating as one global Carta entity, our U.K. and Denmark locations will  enhance the Carta platform with Capdesk and Vauban as proprietary products.Click the links to read more about the acquisition of Capdesk from Carta and Vauban from Carta. The Problems You’ll Solve You will have the opportunity to help administer investment vehicles through innovative solutions, on behalf of the most talented venture capitalists, fund managers and dealmakers in the world. You will help them realize their ambitions of supporting the companies of tomorrow through our next-gen investment stack (including legals, vehicle formation, banking, investor onboarding and much more). You will be supporting specific projects and initiatives across the business while advising stakeholders and clients alike, as part of our Post-Close team. You will also be collaborating and joining forces with our wider Carta accounting, fund administration, delivery and compliance teams on relevant admin issues related to Vauban’s products and services. You will also collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure effective capital deployment and efficient money movement. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of treasury process flows. About You Hold a numerical Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accountancy/Finance Have prior work experience in the preparation of accounts or tax filings, within funds would be preferable but not necessary Have previous experience with executing large volumes of payments  Comfortable using tax and accounting software to generate financial statements and tax returns High attention to detail Strong prioritization skills and experience working in a fast paced, ambiguous environment. You can manage competing demands on your time, while persevering to solve challenging problems Passionate and knowledgeable about venture capital: you intimately understand the pressures facing our clients and are ready to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced environment Excited to work on wider team projects which are not directly post-close items (e.g. legal, financial, product) as well as interacting with clients on administering their investment structures.
