The Reddit Ads team is seeking a Vice President who will lead our Ads product management organization. You will own and drive the product strategy, execution & team-building for this organization that is the core of our company’s monetization engine. This role reports to our EVP of Ads Monetization and is a part of the executive team at Reddit. As an executive at Reddit, you will have significant influence and responsibility in shaping Reddit’s overall monetization & company-building strategy.
Responsibilities
Directly responsible for all Ads product management teams, spanning multiple areas including advertiser experience, ad formats, marketplace & optimizations, API, brand suitability, targeting & measurement. Responsible for hiring, retaining & grooming world-class product managers and leaders
Drive great customer outcomes & revenue growth by owning the end-to-end product strategy & roadmap for our full-funnel, multi-objective Ads product suite. Achieve this by leveraging Reddit’s position as a leader in contextual and interest-based advertising and our unique proposition of bringing together communities and brands
Be a champion for building differentiated/Reddit-unique products, ruthlessly automating operational processes related to our Ads platform and ROI-driven performance advertising
Closely partner with the Ads engineering team for roadmap execution and to influence the Ads technology roadmap & platform. Partner with the Consumer product team to unlock synergies between the Consumer & Ads products. Closely partner with the Product Marketing teams to understand customer needs and take world-class products successfully to market
Thought & action partner for other Ads cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Sales, Ad Ops, BD, etc.) on our Ads business strategy
As an executive at Reddit, influence Reddit’s overall company-building vision & strategy
Required Qualifications
10+ years of PM leadership or equivalent experience in an internet-based services/SaaS environment
Proven experience in building & running high-performing, diverse & inclusive teams that work well across multiple locations, time zones and with remote employees
Proven experience in hiring & managing multiple principal-level ICs, senior managers & directors
Strong established domain knowledge and expertise in digital advertising
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to manage, mentor and motivate a team, as well as align a diverse set of stakeholders towards a common goal
A “can do / no excuses” mindset for winning with resource constraints
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with Executive-level leadership
Foundational understanding of ML modeling and ML systems. Background in building & leading ML-driven products
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing, building & commercializing differentiated, category-defining products. Experience with successful “0 to 1” journeys through product-market fit
Leadership of PM teams of 20+ product managers
Experience building an Ads platform that successfully serves medium & small performance advertisers, in addition to brand advertisers
Strong academic background in CS or a related field (MS/PhD)
