Service Supply Chain Country Logistics ManagerDescription -This role oversees the Japan Service Parts Organization Logistics managing day-to-day country 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL) warehouse activities and transportation services to ensure timely delivery of spares to end users.What a Service Supply Chain Country Logistics Manager does at HP:Develop robust action plans to support products supply chain improvements encompassing the overall warehousing and logistics management area including but not limited to:Operational management with the 3PL of HP Country DC/FSLs.Monitor and measure 3PL meet their operational KPIs.Ensure functional activities integrate with organization requirements for quality management, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.Updating/maintaining the Business Continuity Plan with 3PL.Manage individual country exceptional shipment handling processes.Shipping documentation, coordination with carriers, freight forwarders, transport vendors and internal customers.Management of ad-hoc shipment requests.Manages the Cycle count, physical inventory count/audit.Manage audit and compliance in SOX, security and finance.Leads cross-functional country teams to maintain and enhance the current business processes. Contributes to priority projects by leading high impact projects, adding creative insights and developing recommendations. Identify basic supply chain anomalies and seek guidance for resolution. Coordinate and deliver agreed-upon services across stakeholders, driving productivity improvements and adherence to accuracy standards.We are looking for an individual with: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, business, operations, or related fields.Typically, 7-10 years of experience in a supply chain function.Mastery in Japanese Language and fluent with English.Experience in more than one supply chain function and excellent understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver).Strong communication skills.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.Strong team player and autonomous at the same time.#LI-POSTJob -Supply Chain & OperationsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Japan)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
