We are looking for a Principal Engineer - Performance Analysis!NVIDIA is currently seeking a Performance analysis Engineer with strong fundamentals  in HW and SW performance aspects for CPU and System level. This role provide and amazing opportunity to get first-hand experience in Nvidia’s CPU product line and influence and impact the roadmap. We recently announced Grace CPU for HPC and AI workloads https://www.nvidia.com/en-in/data-center/grace-cpu/Do you want to be part of the team that explores and defines the next generation of CPUs?What you'll be doing:Plan and  execute performance characterization and analysis for leading edge Nvidia CPUs/SoCs and relevant SW workloadsDetailed performance analysis of SW workloads on various HW solutions from competitionThrough performance analysis, help to understand the current and guide the development of future productsDefinition and development of tool chain and efficient workflows that enables the CPU and System performance analysisPartner closely with external vendors and internal teams on HW platforms and SW workload alignmentDrive continuous improvement of workflows/processesWhat we need to see:Strong understanding of computer system architecture and operating system fundamentals15+ years of work experience in a relevant domainPhD or Master's or Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or related field, or equivalent experienceHands-on experience on Silicon and/or Pre Silicon platforms for performance analysis of complex CPUs/SoCs and SW workloadsKnowledge of industry best practices and tool flows for performance analysisExperience with C/C+/Python languages, workflow automation and frameworksStrong HW and SW debugging skills on Silicon as well as Pre-Silicon environmentGood communication skills and ability & desire to work as a great teammate across the global team are a mustWays to stand out from the crowd:Detailed knowledge of the ARM and/or x-86 architectureExperience working with EDA tools and optimizationWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
