Ideal candidates are seasoned engineers with a background in embedded systems, preferably experience in the areas like device driver, linux kernel and WLAN protocol. This position is located at our Sunnyvale, CA location. We offer a great environment to get exposed to a wide range of technology. Our team works closely with ASIC, DSP, system engineers, and we participate in the full product lifecycle from pre-silicon all the way through to full software reference designs. The specific responsibilities of this position include:Design and develop new wifi driver/firmware features for WLAN networking productsEnhance transmit power control, including regulatory, SAR and closed-loop and open-loop power control algorithmsParticipate in architecture and design for new generation solution Debugging and fixing bugs for issues in existing productsMaintain and enhance existing software OneDriver architecture Full life cycle software feature development from requirements through design, implementation and supportJob Requirements :BS in CS/EE with 12+ years of related experience, or MS in CS/EE with 10+ years of related experience Proven experience in working on device driver development Fluent in the C language, assembly and embedded debugging Strong knowledge/experience in embedded firmware development Strong technical leadership skills and interpersonal skillsExcellent analytical skills, particularly in the realm of software debuggingExcellent verbal and written communication skills Strong logical and creative problem-solving skillsImaginative, motivated, and able to work effectively under pressureGeneral knowledge of 802.11 wireless networking and wireless gateway is a plusExperience in pcie driver and usb diver highly desirable Deep experience with linux kernel and networking driver highly desirable  Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $126,000 - $210,000This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
