Ready to be a Titan?Play a pivotal role as a Data Governance Lead. Enterprise Data Engineering is part of the Data Services team. The Data Engineering team builds database solutions for various enterprise use cases including analytics, data science, and financial reporting.As the Data Governance Lead, you will manage contextual and supporting data that’s necessary to bring critical data to life. You will be responsible for the catalog data assets to build a scalable approach and supporting practices to ingest this data and make it accessible to data consumers across the firm. You will also work with stewards, architects, and reporting services in orchestrating a plan to bring this data under management within the existing data governance infrastructure.We want data to be at the core of everything that the company does. Lead implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilitiesAudit master and transactional data for compliance. Define guidelines for management of PII Data points and ensure compliance.Evaluate how data is consumed, ensure metadata that is meaningful to various data consumers across the firm is collected and providedEngage with subject matter experts (SMEs) within the business to develop/enhance knowledge and understanding of the line of business processes, systems of record and authoritative sources and their usageCollaborate with data stewards and data custodians on review and planning of key information gaps and data debts which present challenges.Partner with the Data Quality teams to ensure effective end-to-end governance of data is achieved.Manage documentation as well as remediation of key data issuesLead Data Governance Steering Group meetings and ceremoniesWhat you'll need:B.S., M.S. or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field6+ years of experience working with in data related roles, from engineering, analytics to governanceStrong experience (at least 3+ years) with the following are preferred:Experience in leading a Data Governance OfficeAzure Cloud ComputingMaster and enterprise Data Governance Tool (MS Purview, Alation or Collibra)SQLNice to Have:TableauDemonstrated experience in information technology and data governance related change management, required.Experience in developing effective workflows to ensure consistency and quality delivery, and advise Metadata Management on how we can leverage our technology assetsStrong data analysis skills and content knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management and/or Data Management requiredBe Human With Us:Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $113,000 USD - $162,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
