Working collaboratively with the Sales Organization, Business Management, Service, and many other key stakeholders, drives operational excellence and manages business continuity risks.Job descriptionAs a Service Billing Specialist, you will have end-to-end responsibility for all aspects of customer invoicing, credits, price adjustments & discounts for Indigo customers in the United States and Canada.  You will solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommend appropriate alternatives.   Work will include problems of diverse complexity and scope.   You will exercise independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.   Ability to handle most unique situations and seek advice to make decisions on complex business issues. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams including credit and collections, category, and services to implement efficient invoicing processes to safeguard accurate and timely billing of customers. Additionally, ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.Responsibilities:Process all service billing; including monthly contracts, parts, freight, training, and relocations, may include hardware and supplies billing.Update, manage, and enforce credit guidelines related to Services.Manage multiple tasks and able to prioritize work.Provide reliable financial data to management, as requested.Backup other team members including contracts review & approvals.Identify areas of opportunity and implement improvements.Work closely with Finance, Sales, Supplies, and other key stakeholders to determine strategy, policy, and procedures.Review, authorize, deny, or modify (and obtain business approval) any non-standard requests for the Industrial Print business as requested by the sales organization.Comply with procedural/audit/records retention policies.Drive to process optimization and quality assurance.Collaborate and work with the category/portfolio team on implementing new service offerings. Collaborate with other regions to leverage best practicesExercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectivesMay provide mentoring and guidance to other team members-Education and Experience RequiredFirst-level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.Typically 4-6 years of experience in a business-related function, preferably finance, accounting, or compensation.Work with completing priorities and managing multiple tasks.Possesses a sense of urgency with the ability to stay focused on goals and objectives.Work on self-directed activities with minimal supervision.Knowledge and SkillsAdvanced communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation).Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.Advanced understanding of core HP businesses and the revenue cycle.Process Management and transformation identifies process shortcomings and works with others to improve or transform practices.Problem-solving and analytical skills.QAD experience and knowledge.Proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint & other MS Office applicationsWork with competing priorities and manage multiple tasks.Change Management: develops methods for supporting innovation/change across the organization.Problem Solving: Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.Critical attention to detail.Job -Sales OperationsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Mexico)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
