HP Store Central Functions Manager and Payments SMEDescription -Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies. Has accountability for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction and people management. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members'work may involve strategic issues. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members.Manages and controls activities within a single country or a sub-region which is part of a larger geographical Region.Manages at least 4 employees and typically between 8 and 15 direct reports. Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team/group of Subject Matter Experts engaged in implementation of process and system capabilities for HP Online StoreProvide Coaching and Guidance to Direct StaffProvide Direction based on business prioritiesManage Project Prioritization Cadence with internal teams and stakeholdersAssess payment capability gaps and recommend solutions / new financial technologies to the business.Review contractual agreements and support Vendor Negotiations and Engagements in relation to rates and system requirements.Create business requirement documents (BRD) and coordinate project requirements with Sales, Operations, Legal, Risk and Compliance and any other teams required.Manages the development of project guidelines, plans, objectives, and deliverables.Influences senior management by presenting compelling analyses and recommendations for optimizing business performance.Directs large cross-functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery to clients.Provides innovative recommendations and influences the knowledge base within area of expertise.Provides strong leadership, develops and monitors individual and team performance goals, and manages change.Ensures proper tools and resources are in place to support team efforts.Education and Experience Required: Typically 6-10 years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
