Our China Acoustics team plays key a role in implementing the extraordinary acoustic designs in Apple products by working closely with US team to review designs, DFMs and ramp production. This means continuous multi-functional collaboration with a wide variety of teams ranging from transducer design and audio tunings, to system hardware, software, mechanical engineering, quality and reliability. We are looking for Acoustic intern who is self motivated and enjoys collaboration to help us advance audio performance in Apple’s next generation products. In this role you will participate in and support our technical research in acoustics design, signal processing, acoustics test, acoustics validation. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Understand the fundamentals of Acoustics, audio DSP and electronics diagram. Hands-on capability on acoustic signal processing and data analysis with MATLAB or Python. Ability to set up acoustic tester, process and analyze data in your preferred tools. Knowledge of Machine learning is plus. Passion for designing custom hardware to deliver novel/outstanding audio user experiences. Good communication skills, both verbal & written (English and Mandarin). Description Description As part of our team, you will work closely with acoustic design team to support technology development of acoustic testing and performance validation. This will include validating acoustic designs, leading test technology developments and establishing acoustic hardware test stations. Internship duration at least 4 months, longer is preferred.
