Reporting directly to the Director, Global Head of Equity and Payroll, you will have the opportunity to lead the day-to-day administration of the equity program and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance. This role can be done from homeBuilding the world’s leading sound experience starts with the experience we provide for our people. It’s about impact, not location.What You’ll Do:Oversee and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to administer employee equity grant and/or purchase plan(s), managing activities such as  equity grants, option exercises, RSU releases, employee demographic updates, and equity education.Provide guidance and support for the day-to-day activities of the Global Equity Program, including overseeing stock option exercises, RSU vestings, and grants.Manage the preparation, submission, payment, and reconciliation of all stock reporting for payroll processing, and contribute to daily and monthly reporting to payroll.Collaborate with the accounting team to facilitate the global equity accounting close process, including reconciliations and preparation of the monthly equity rollforward.Ensure a superior level of customer service by appropriately addressing and resolving employee questions and concerns.Foster strong partnerships with Human Resources, Payroll, Legal, and Finance teams, stock administration service providers, and accounting firms.Work closely with consultants to ensure accurate and timely mobile employee equity calculations and reporting to third-party stock administrators.Collaborate with the Global Payroll team on proper and timely tax withholding and remittance on RSU releases and stock option exercises.Stay updated on equity rules, regulations, and best practices, with a focus on international equity laws and regulations.Oversee the timely preparation of country-specific equity filings.Lead and contribute to special projects and generate ad-hoc reports as required.What You’ll Need:Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.Basic Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in equity administration.BA/BS degree in the field of Finance or relative industry experience.Preferred Qualifications:Comprehensive understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing equity plans, both in the United States and internationally.Proficiency in data management, with a demonstrated ability to effectively utilize tools such as Workday, Google Suite, JIRA, and Confluence.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and have strong mathematical and analytical thinking skills to prepare and analyze large data sets.Experience working in a global capacity. Minimum of 3- 5 years of relevant work experience, with Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation preferred. Experience with Fidelity Stock Plan Services preferred.Strong equity administration experience and a solid understanding of payroll and international tax implications related to equity compensation.Familiarity and experience in areas of international accounting, treasury and/or tax. Ability to perform research on complex stock administration issues (for example, performance awards with different goals, tranches and vesting conditions, tax and other reporting requirements) with in depth knowledge of SOX compliance and mobile employee special handling.Ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality as well as exercise good judgment and integrity in day-to-day decisions.Alignment with the Sonos values of Respect, Transparency, Collaboration, and Ownership as demonstrated through mindset and actions.#LI-RemoteAt Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead  individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience.  All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity.  Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions.
