Category Demand Lead- AMSDescription -The Category Organization within Renew Solutions is responsible for the regional growth of Renew category. Under their umbrella they will be accountable for Demand orchestration within the region, supply planning and inventory management, sourcing and purchasing of supply and will be the key interlock to the markets and commercial teams on the timing and availability of Renew products. As the Category Demand Lead-AMS for the newly created HP Renew Category Organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Renew Category functions within the WS GBU. The position, reporting directly to the Head of Category will help build this organization from the ground up by establishing best in class practices and elements that drive organizational excellence and support HP sustainable goals. This role will support Renew Solutions overall business in the Americas by creating, overseeing, and executing a worldclass regional demand generation & growth model. Responsibilities:Drive 4P Plan for the Renew category including product placement, pricing, profitability, and priority including deal review.Drive consensus forecasting with Sales & Markets & lead demand generation campaigns.Responsible for regional demand orchestration & alignment with Category Sourcing counterparts on supply availability & timingActively contributes to the business objectives of the category business plan; drive revenue and margin targets.Establishes relationships and represents Renew Solutions team with HP’s sales force and HP Partners at senior level.Key interaction with HP Markets on supply availabilityProduct line and quota responsibility for a significant share of the product range, or a specific customer segment.Functional responsibility for the team in one or several areas (market analysis, marketing engagement, Salesforce communication etc).Analyse KPI's to assess performance and take data driven improvement actions, conducting proof of concept testing.Identify and resolve customer-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction with the HP Renew brand.Works closely with Remanufacturing Operations to determine what products should be processed as Revitalize vs. liquidation.Ensure E2E customer order management is properly executed by SCOAH teamsDevelop quarterly/annual ‘tops down’ revenue and margin plan and reconcile to ‘bottoms up’ sales-out forecastEducation and Experience:First level university degree (Finance, Economics or Operations management preferred)6-10 of experience in supply chain, finance, returns/refurbishment, procurement, Sales or OperationsKnowledge and Skills:Proven experience in IT Product category management preferably in the renew/ refurb electronics or IT industry.
