Serves as organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs. Champions large projects that affect the company's long-range goals and objectives. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.Responsibilities: Develops strategy and technology roadmaps for design and development of complex products, platforms, systems, software, and technology across multiple engineering disciplines, platforms, Global Business Units, and the company at large.Communicates strategy and technology roadmaps to executive staff, industry partners and customers; leverages recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision- making at the highest organizational levels.Provides consultation, design input, and feedback for new product development and design reviews across multiple organizations and architectures.Guides and mentors less- experienced staff members to set an example of engineering design innovation and excellence.Participates in and provides input on process for selection of future technical leaders.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.Typically 15+ years experience.Knowledge and Skills: Industry expert regarding engineering product design, development, standards, and architectures.History of innovation with multiple examples of developing industry- leading technologies and practices for designs.Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.Designing and integrating technologies, solutions, and practices into overall product architecture.History of innovation with multiple examples of developing industry- leading technologies and practices for designs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at the most senior organizational levels.Job -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
