We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME)– IP Services to join our Mechanical search team in Noida. We have a great skill set in Search, Analytics Prep & Prosecution and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in patent searching. Experience, education, skills, and accomplishments :· At least 2-3 years of experience in patent searching.· Ability to perform patentability searches, Freedom to operate searches, Invalidity searches etc.· Good knowledge of Mechanical core subjects such as Automobile, Manufacturing, HVAC, Machine Design and knowledge of trending technology in market.· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or related degree. It would be great if you also had:· Any professional certification course in IPR· Master's degree or PhD in any core subject of Mechanical Engineering What will you be doing in this role? · Strong experience in handling IP projects such as Patent Searches & Analytics and Technology monitoring. A strong background in Search Execution (Patentability, FTO, IVS Searches etc.) and Management.· Ability to discuss own search results effectively with customers with support.· Have some degree of independence, but still require some amount of oversight, as needed. · Responsible for own project planning and successful execution.· Maintain fairly interactive and mature relationships with clients.· Work in sync with Manger/Senior Manager to manage staffing and operation related issues within teams (projects and engagements).· Innovates and improves upon professional management protocols and processes. About the Team The position is for SME-IP Services in SAPP (Search, Analytics Prep & Prosecution) team. This team is responsible for reviewing customer’s inventions and service requirement to ensure safety of their IP rights. The team consist of IP analyst, Sr. IP analyst, IP SME, IP Lead, IP Manager and Operations managers. We have Internal and External stakeholders. Internal stakeholders are other teams within SAPP, Sales executive, Sales consultants, Account Managers and External stakeholders are – Customers. Team has strong experience in handling IP projects such as Patent Searches (Patentability, FTO, IVS Searches etc.) & Analytics and Technology monitoring.
