Today, we deliver a leading cloud-based platform for work execution, empowering organizations to plan, capture, track, automate, and report on work at scale, resulting in more efficient processes and better business outcomes.  As Senior Director, Core Product Marketing, you will lead our product marketing team to develop marketing strategies that drive awareness, demand, adoption, and engagement with Smartsheet solutions. As a key member of the leadership team, you own the core product marketing direction for the company and as a Smartsheet leader, you will evolve and lead a team of motivated individuals.  You will report to the VP, Portfolio and Customer Marketing located in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer. You will:  Lead & oversee the development of leading edge, Enterprise SaaS Application Product Marketing strategy, defining processes and tools that scale to keep pace with Smartsheet high year-over-year growth of customers and revenue.  Recruit and inspire a team of Core Product Marketing professionals, ensuring they have clear goals and responsibilities. Provide coaching and guidance to help them excel, and constructive feedback where necessary. Build a work environment that draws people to the team.  Deeply understand the needs of your customers and the marketplace to build a great product market fit. Analyze market and trends to inform new recommendations.  Quickly shift from high-level strategy development to tactical details to ensure all elements of Product Marketing are flawlessly executed.  Work collaboratively with Integrated Marketing Pricing and Packaging, Sales Operations and Sales Enablement teams to align execution of Smartsheet Go to Market strategies.  Collaborate and align with Product, Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure Product Marketing supports the innovation story, product roadmap and drives field engagement and customer adoption.  Support other duties as assigned. You have:  Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent discipline; MBA preferred.  15+ years experience in online B2B application marketing; SaaS experience preferred.  Extensive experience as a people leader, growing & developing leaders of leaders. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location.
