Key Responsibilities:
You will play a pivotal role in crafting and communicating the Adept story, building brand awareness, and driving strategies to amplify Adept’s unique take on AGI, including:
Content creation: own the content calendar and work alongside Product, Engineering, Research, and Design teams to draft compelling articles, blog posts, and other written materials that communicate Adept’s vision, product launches, and thought leadership.
Social media: lead social media strategy and execution, managing platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Adept’s Discord community.
Speaking engagements and events: support company leadership and spokespersons prepare for industry conferences and other media events.
Media relations: cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and thought leaders. Proactively pitch and secure media coverage in top-tier outlets to elevate Adept’s visibility.
Brand messaging: work cross-functionally to establish Adept’s brand identity and employer brand. Integrate brand messaging into both internal-facing and external-facing communication materials.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing roles, with a focus on technology or startup environments.
Generalist mindset, and willingness to roll up your sleeves and act as a both a strategy-setter and individual contributor across a range of projects and needs.
Deep interest and understanding of the emerging AI landscape, industry participants, and topics of interest.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience managing social media platforms and driving engagement.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
The pay range for this position in California is $175,000 - $300,000yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience. We also offer competitive equity packages in the form of stock options and a comprehensive benefits plan.
