The Embedded Runtimes team in Core OS develop and support a real-time operating system that is deployed on many Apple products, everything from AirPods and AirTags to Mac Pros. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Passion for quality in consumer products Experience leading a software-development or software-QA team Experience with firmware, device-driver, or kernel-level test development and QA Experience with test strategies including unit, system-integration, white-box, black-box, fuzz, conformance, and compliance Proven track record of setting and meeting software-quality objectives History of setting aggressive yet attainable goals and motivating teams to achieve them Description Description The Embedded Runtimes team are seeking an engineering manager to build and lead an Austin-based team of test-development and software-integrity engineers responsible for ensuring the quality of key firmware and software technologies for multiple Apple product lines.
