That’s why we’re a leader in next-generation cybersecurity.The Role Proofpoint is looking for a highly-motivated Vice President of Sales Engineering EMEA to lead a team of talented Sales Engineering Directors, Managers and Sales Engineers focused on Enterprise and Commercial opportunities across the EMEA region in a high growth and rapidly scaling environment.The ideal candidate will have a deep technical security background, be passionate and knowledgeable about security, and have prior extensive experience leading, developing and growing Sales Engineer and/or Presales Teams.  An ability to “lead from the front” and a willingness to act as both player and coach to help your team secure the technical win will be key to your success.Your day-to-day Lead a team of dynamic and energetic Presales Managers and Sales Engineers supporting both Enterprise and Commercial sales across EMEAPeer with the SVP, and Regional Sales VPs to drive sales and Sales Engineering strategies, ideas, new opportunities and the best methods for achieving success in a changing marketplace.Lead from the front, with a track record of actively participating in large, complex sales engagements with relationships with CISO’s, CIO’s, and technical security leaders.Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR to attract, hire and retain top talent from the industry to support our rapid growthLeverage your experience in driving career paths and sales engineering specialisations, and certifications to differentiate and scale Proofpoint in EMEA.Become an expert in our best in breed security solutions, enable your team with our world-class training, and provide 1:1 coaching and development at every opportunityPut your individual contributor hat on when needed, engage with customers, and help formulate strategies for strategic accounts to help win deals and drive execution.Partner with other groups (e.g. Professional Services, Support, Product Management) to help us ensure an outstanding customer experienceThe role will require regular travel within EMEA and occasional travel to the US, to ensure that sales and client needs are met and exceededAble to deliver a compelling message at industry and customer events on technologies and marketWhat you bring to the teamYou should have experience in second and/or third line leadership roles, selling next generation security solutions to enterprise customers.Extensive technical background in cybersecurity, preferably Cloud SecurityWe’re looking for a deep technical background combined with experience in leading change with large teams.Previous experience of managing and developing sales engineering teamsExperience in selling and positioning a Cloud PlatformCISSP and related certifications would be great, but not essentialBachelors or equivalent experienceWhy ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.  We’re a customer-focused and driven-to-win organisation with leading-edge products.
