Our internships have a thoughtful balance of networking, executive speakers, community involvement, purposeful projects with real-world impact, and fun!ResponsibilitiesAs a product management intern, within our Digital and Transformation Office organization, you will:Develop product roadmaps, document user stories, and define product requirementsPartner cross-functionally to ideate, prioritize, and deliver frictionless customer experiences, quick time to market, and optimal resourcesHelp our product teams gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growthDevelop business case analysis and validate products and services with end customersCreate buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partnersInternship SpecificsWe are the developer-experience (DevEx) platform-engineering team responsible for investing in and accelerating our multidimensional software community. We work across all dimensions of software R&D at enterprise scale. Together we count as our customers the thousands of developers, data scientists, enterprise architects, and designers who bring to life HP’s products, services, and solutions for millions of users worldwide. Our ongoing work is to manage and streamline the services needed most by HP’s developers: your product's users will be your software peers with ambitions ranging from those creating specialized device-level software controlling the electro-mechanical and micro-fluidic magic of life-sciences products, to those building cloud services which support millions of end users all around the globe.Your internship will be focused on delivering additional value to our API services and Management Platform. This includes value stream mapping, customer insights and interviewing, expanding our communication outreach, and providing strategic recommendations for platform enhancements and growth.Education and Experience:4 year/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or related fields2-3 years work experience in technical or business field1st year student - MBA or similar master's programPassion for building a career in software product managementSkills:Demonstrated commitment to solving customer problemsExperience working with API servicesSkilled at leveraging data for user behavior analysis and product opportunity identificationExperience collaborating with agile teams and managing project milestonesStrong communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technicalWe are looking for visionaries who are ready to make an impact on the way the world works.
