Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and build memory or circuit blocks at the gate or transistor levelSimulate and analyze the circuit design using transistor level simulatorsExtract the layout and perform post-layout simulations and verificationFloorplan physical implementation and leafcell layout integration to build the physical macroIntegrate characterization flow to extract timing and power informationDevelop scripts to automate characterization flow, simulations, and verificationSpecify and verify various behavioral and physical memory modelsDocument the design specifications, behavioral description, and timing diagramsHelp specify silicon test plan and correlate silicon to simulation dataSkillset RequiredExpertise in development of memory compilers and custom macros of all types; SRAMs, Register-files, Multi-ports, ROM, etc…Good understanding of transistor level circuit behavior and device physicsGood understanding of signal integrity analysis, EM/IR analysis, and reliability analysisGood understanding of memory behavioral and physical modelsGood understanding of DFT schemes and chip level integrationFamiliar with test setups, silicon testing and debugProficient in running simulators, writing automation scripts, and are tools savvyGood communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsMotivated, self-driven and good at multi-taskingAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $91,200 - $152,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
