This is a highly visible and strategic role that will partner with the President of the Asia Pacific Region and members of the APJ Leadership Team. The ideal individual for this role will possess excellent writing skills, have experience leading communications for a senior executive, be a self starter, have the ability to forge strong relationships with executives, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have the capacity to manage multiple priorities at one time. Ready to learn more?RESPONSIBILITIES:Drive a strategic, internal and external, executive communications program for Workday’s Asia Pacific President, in partnership with other members of the APJ corporate communications team, marketing, events, social media, and AR.Together with APJ Corporate Communications, develop executive thought leadership platforms and engagement strategies.Work hands-on with executives and other key stakeholders to plan, write, edit, and distribute a variety of different communication materials including video scripts, keynotes (speeches and presentation decks), social media content, etc.Develop internal messaging and presentations for company updates, key initiatives, etc.Help cultivate and grow the brand voice of Workday, leveraging humor and fun to engage and inform—working closely with other teams within the APAC business to ensure a consistent brand experience.Partner tightly with the other teams and stakeholders within Corporate Communications, Marketing, and other parts of the organisation to ensure tight alignment of messages and narratives.Develop and execute the APAC Employee Communications strategy, including town halls and executive fireside chats.Collaborate with the People and Purpose team on organisational change communications.Partner with the global Communications team, Executive Assistants, and APJ Corporate Communications team to support global executive visits to the region.Partner with the global Editorial team to develop APAC stories to publish in the global employee newsletter.Partner with the Field Sales Strategy and Operations team on the annual Sales Kick Off (SKO)About You10+ years working in corporate communications, including executive communications experience, in a fast-paced, high-tech company.Proven success developing and executing strategic employee and external communications across a variety of channels in support of senior level leaders.Established track record collaborating with and proactively supporting senior leaders on communications strategies and best practices; customer service mindset and consultative approach is a must.Strong experience leading C-level keynote content development, including storyline development, script writing and guiding visuals (in partnership with visual designer).Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messaging; ability to write in a simple, direct, warm and friendly tone.High degree of flexibility, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Outstanding writing and editing skills; ability to write for a broad spectrum of multimedia communications channels.Innovative mindset—always looking for ways to improve how Workday communicates with and engages audiences.Technology industry expertise, with specific knowledge and experience in the software market.Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
